Use common sense.  Most wild animals are shy of humans, with a few
exceptions, like foxes and coyotes.  To go into a town where there are plenty of humans and dog teams is not a normal activity.  Foxes and Coyotes will be allowed into town, though there are few coyotes around (as it should be).  And remember, on this MUCK, as a wild animal entering a town, you subject yourself to whatever the dogs and humans, and other domesticated species wish to do to you.  You may not be outright killed unless permission from yourself or (in certain extreme circumstances) a wiz is gained.  Further information about wild animal behavior is available on the web.  There is plenty of interaction between town animals and wild animals out in the forest or on the dog trails that ring the town.
