~*~ MUCK Theme ~*~
  
This MUCK is based in the late 1890's and very early 1900's during
the Yukon Gold Rush.  It is mildly (at the moment) based on the works
of Jack London.  Feature Characters are available!
  
The Yukon is in Canada, the Northwest Territory.  The main city
involved is Dawson City.  It lies near the Klondike River and is
north of the town of Klondike. 
  
The main form of transportation is dog sled, and in the warmer months
horse and cart might be used around town.  The winters are harsh, and
the wilderness foreboding. 
  
Keep in mind when creating descriptions or objects to use only those
things that would have been around in this time period.  If you spot
any problems, please notify a Wiz, and we will take care of it.  If
you wonder whether or not something did exist back then, ask for help
finding out before you create it.  It keeps everyone happy and the
MUCK in theme.
